Melbourne flights to commence 25 March 2020
MelbourneStarting next year Melbourne will become a whole lot closer for south west residents with Jetstar announcing a three times weekly service from Busselton.
The flights will operate Monday, Wednesday and Saturday with the inaugural flight on 25 March 2020. In a massive win for holiday makers the flights will arrive and depart Busselton in the morning allowing visitors to make the most of their holidays.
Special introductory fares have gone on sale today and start from $89 one way.
The new services are expected to be an economic driver for the South West over the next three years with 60,000 east coast visitors expected to contribute more than $40 million to the local economy.
Prior to today’s announcement the airport had undergone a major redevelopment with upgrades to aviation and landside infrastructure.
